Darrell was the DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! Darrell was very communicative and very personable. We didn't have a planner, and the framework he gave me helped tremendously.

On the day of the wedding, we made a few small pivots from the original plan, and again, executed flawlessly. He did an amazing job reading the room. He didn't play any songs on my "do not play" list. Our guests loved Darrell as did we! Highly recommend DJU and DJ Darrell Ripley especially.

We used DJU Entertainment for our DJ and photobooth at our wedding at Boxwood Manor. DARRELL was the DJ for our wedding and he was AMAZING!!! He emailed me documents before the big day asking what we were wanting, not wanting, etc and I went above and beyond sending him as much as I could. He did a fantastic job of reading the room and picking music that kept everyone on the dance floor until the very end, it wasn’t empty ONCE! He played majority of everything we asked! He was great to work with leading up to the wedding as well, very energetic, fun, and communicative! His personality shines in any room he walks into. He helped the night run so smoothly, would recommend again and again! The photo booth our guests also had a lot of fun with and I would recommend to any bride! You simply don’t have enough time to take photos with everyone (we had 250 people) and I loved having photos to look back on in the photo booth because I couldn’t get photos with everyone. Thank you for being a part of one of the best days of our lives!!

Bryan was the DJ for our wedding and we had such a great time! The DJ was one of the most important things to us, and so we were on the hunt for the perfect DJ. DJU made sure to honor our requests, from music we did or did not want to hear, to must-play songs, and made it such a memorable night. I highly recommend DJU for any brides looking for the perfect DJ!

DJU Entertainment provided the DJ and uplights for our wedding. Our first meeting was with Guy and he went through all the packages and answered all our questions. The only downside was that we did not get assigned a DJ until 2 weeks before the wedding which was a bit nerve wracking, but it all worked out! We met with Rickie via video chat and went over the timeline, name pronunciation, and any concerns we had with music. Except for a technical difficulties during the ceremony, everything else went great! Everyone loved the music choices and Rickie kept the party going all night!

Darrell DJed our recent wedding and was fantastic! We overheard multiple guests saying this was the best wedding they had ever been to, and I believe that's due to the dance party that Darrell kept going with the music. Communication was great and he provided multiple resources ahead of time to help us plan and coordinate our music requests as well as event flow. Would highly recommend DJU Entertainment and Darrell!

DJU Entertainment was very professional and accessible. Darrell Ripley was our point of contact throughout the planning stages and was extremely enthusiastic. He helped us work through all of the details of our reception and ceremony, including many things we wouldn’t have thought of. We were also very fortunate to have Darrell as our DJ for both an outdoor ceremony and reception. On a windy day, he was attentive to the impact this would have on projecting audio and made sure everyone made appropriate accommodations for this. Throughout our reception, he was present, passionate, and flexible. He paid close attention to our requests and suggestions for musical preferences while still adding his own style and flare. His enthusiasm kept people dancing all night long. We highly recommend Darrell and DJU!

DJU is awesome! After getting engaged in December 2020, we quickly began looking for music for our May '21 wedding. One of our dear friends highly recommended their close friend, Philip, the owner of DJU. After talking with him, were excited to book with DJU. Well, as it turns out, the wedding venue and package we selected (Magnolia Bells), included DJU as their in-house DJ. BOOM! It was meant to be! Before we even finished paying our second wedding payment, we received an email from Darrell 3 months out informing us he'll be our personal DJ for our BIG day. He also attached 2 song documents to fill out (one for ceremony, one for reception), including song requests for every little detail you could imagine. 2 months out from our wedding, we reviewed the documents and covered each detail for our wedding day. Fast forward to 5.21.21, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Darrell was perfect for our job! Not only did he have great energy and was professional, all our guests had a blast tearing up the dance floor! We'd highly recommend DJU!
