We hired a pet relocation agency in the US (Continental Pet Relocation-highly recommend!) to move our dog from the US to Sweden, and that agency partnered with ScandiPet to handle our dog's import to Sweden. We didn't have a lot of contact with ScandiPet since the other company was in charge of most of the relocation, but ScandiPet had good communication with us when we needed it. They handled the whole customs process and made sure our dog was cleared in a timely manner - no complaints!

COVID made it impossible for us to fly our large dog as extra baggage on a passenger flight from Sweden to the US. While it was really expensive to ship her as cargo, Scandipet made the process as smooth and pleasant as possible! Even when our local vet canceled our health check at the last minute, Scandipet was able to find a solution quickly. Very friendly, supportive, professional and trustworthy!

I spent a couple indecisive years in contact with Scandipet, considering whether or not I was going to send my dog back home to family in the US due to living situation difficulties. My emails were always answered very promptly and thoroughly while I was given updated quotes and information.

I finally decided it was the right decision this year, and they made the emotionally difficult process much easier for me. Debbie and Sandra walked me through every step in great detail, made me feel comfortable that they had full competency and expertise with the process, and everything went very smoothly. When the time came to drop her off at the airport, they were kind enough to pick Schatz and I up from the terminal and drive us to the cargo center as I have no vehicle. Jakob, who was driving and handling the drop off, was very kind and empathetic which was very much appreciated as I was a total mess! Schatz is now safely back in the US and very happy to be home.

When it comes to handling such precious cargo, one wants professionalism and that is exactly what you get here! I'm very grateful to have found Scandipet and highly recommend their services to anyone in need of pet relocation. 😊
